The Importance of Showing Up

One of the greatest lessons I have learned is that you can’t win the fight if you don’t show up. Too often, we render our right away to our opponents by simply not showing up. The opponent of fear, inadequacy, tiredness, and any other negative self-talk that stands in between you and your goal — that new job, that reconciliation of relationship, going back to school, your dream opportunity, etc.

I cannot count how many times the door to course changing opportunities opened for me simply because I took the time to show up. Sometimes the fight is already fixed in your favor. Yes, there are times when you may take a hit or two, and maybe even times you’ll lose, but one thing is for sure and for certain, you cannot win unless you show up! Today, I encourage you to get out of your head and show up.

I hope today’s message has encouraged you on your journey. As always, I thank you for stopping by. Be sure to like, share, and subscribe to this blog. Remember, today is a great day to make a difference in the lives of those around you. Until next time…

  1. You hit the nail on the head, you will never be in a fight for the crown if you don’t show up. You already knocked yourself out without even throwing a punch.
